First time to hear that word?  Welcome to the group, then !! You’ll soon love it…! First  of all ,what are “haiku”? “Haiku” are Japanese poems  made up of three verses , which contain 5, 7 and 5 syllables respectively. Their topics are nature, seasons and daily life. They capture a simple moment in nature, but they often surprise us for their simplicity and beauty. Originally, they were written in Japanese; today loads of poets in many countries write haiku in their languages.
Next time, at the bus stop, waiting at a queue, walking by the street … say to yourself: “Well , this is the perfect moment to create or write  haiku.”

What do all these pictures have in common ?   It’s something related to the topic that we are talking about in our class right now:

 Ambitions …!!! Yes !!!

I would you to answer some of these questions:  What about your ambitions ? Which career would you like  and why ? Where would you like to live ? Next to the beach ? In a big city ? Abroad (=en el extranjero)? In Spain ? In a small village ? Would you like to have a family ? Would you like to work with other people ? In an office? Would you like to be good at something ? Would you like to meet someone famous (sportsman, actor, singer, artist…)? Would you like  to have a boat, a horse or a cute collection of …say, comics ?Which place on Earth would you like to travel to and why ? Would you like to have a small garden? … … … ….

Dreaming is cheap and it makes us happy easily. So, why not ? Please, take two minutes to think about your dreams and write about it. I thank you very much !!
