Scrapbooking is a popular hobby of combining photos, paper, quotations or other media ( cardboard, ribbons…) into personal collages.
Often, short stories or descriptions of the photos are added to the college.
There is no “right ” way to scrapbook. Scrapbooks are very personal, so if you’re into colours, great. Use a lot of colours. If black and white is your thing, go for it.
You can also visit a number of websites online with scrapbooking how-tos and forums. A few good sites to start at are

Scrapboking! I love doing that!
I think this is a perfect way of wishing somebody to have a great birthday´s day, of remebering a special day for you, and also of decorting a letter to a friend.
I have done it many times. The first time that I came into scrapbooking was when I was in Ireland because one day at the school the teacher proposed us to do it, and we said “ok, go on!”.
So I made a letter to my little sister telling her what a wonderful time I was having there. I remember that I used some paper clippings, ribbons, buttons, drawings…
First I looked at it and I said… “What is this?” It was a bit strange because it wasn´t current for me, I had never seen it before.
But then, I started doing them for greeting cards. And I also have a book where I do scrapbooking when something special happens to me, or if it is a special day. Maybe I stick cinema´s tickets, or photographs…
I don´t know… I use everything!
So I encourage you to start doing it, you can do gorgeous scrapbooks if you have nice ideas!
