Our e-twinning project: “The beauty that connects us”

Standard

Thanks a lot to those of you who sent me a photo for this project. Our “classmates” from Sweeden, Turkey, Greece, Poland and Romania have also sent their photographs. The Sweedish teacher, Cathryn is  “choreographing” them  with her students and, finally, we will have them edited as a film or presentation. I have also sent some of your e-mail addresses ( the ones who were interested)  but I have not received an answer about that so far.

After reading this novel by Walter Scott we will dedicate two sessions to this activity : One to complete your worksheets for the different roles and one to listen to your discussions in turns.

Don’t worry about this serious frightening word : “DISCUSSION”…Prepare a couple of ideas  to perform your role and rehearse (=ensaya) a couple of times at home. Then, the day D, relax and get ready to ask and answer.  I’m sure you will surprise me !!!

sea around the house 1house of the sea

I love shells . I have always loved them. When I was a child my granny used to have a big pinkish one in her old-fashioned bathroom and I always tried to hear the waves sound by putting it next to my ear.

It might be the reason why I liked Ollivander’s house so much.  I liked the inside of it too: so much light, such old windows, and the shells and candles in front of the glasses. Cream colours are everywhere : white, light grey, cream, beige. They create an atmosphere of dream. It is like a waiting room before all the action. That peace makes us wait for “something”: we know that we will see Harry’s final fight with You-Know-Who…
